Style and Decor by BHLDN

We are always amazed at the details we find on some of the style blogs and wedding sites out there and the new décor repertoire from BHLDN is no exception. They have just about anything a bride would need to decorate her big day, from top to bottom, in the handmade and vintage Anthropologie style. This new collection includes an impressive variety of must-have wedding décor, including lanterns, colored twine, place card holders, cake servers, boutonnieres, vintage silverware….even china!

Although we love everything that they have to offer, there are a couple of items that we’re highlighting below that would be especially amazing at a wedding at Vibiana.

Mini pennant garlands in various patterns and colors as well as the banners that BHLDN has to offer would look great in our outdoor garden space for either the ceremony or cocktail hour. These garlands can be used as a festive welcome at the garden gate entrance or as a bright backdrop for the ceremony altar.

These Hollyhock letter pressed table numbers are not your average printed number in a frame. They are so sweet and well detailed and would look beautiful when used with a soft color palate within the space.

Looking for a cute way to wrap up your sweets display goodies for your guests? Try these stamped kraft paper “sweets” bags that would look adorable tied off with a ribbon or twine.

Cocktails and Connections Mixer

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the Cocktails and Connections mixer at the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History produced by The Knot, The Bump and Fresh Events Company. Le Petit Gardenia, Inc. designed the uniquely structured yet elegant floral arrangements displayed throughout the museum that created a  wild and organic atmosphere amongst the dinosaurs and African mammal dioramas. The Komodo and White Rabbit food trucks provided tasty bites of pulled pork, chicken and tofu tacos side by side with their specialty Ube macaroons.  The evening ended on a sweet note with the various dessert offerings from Sweet Lucie’s vintage ice cream cart, Oh Those Mini Doughnuts, Tasty Clouds cotton candy, Sweets Indeed, and Cake Divas.

Below are a few of our favorite photos from the evening taken by Henry Chen Photography.
