Elegant Indian Wedding by Fancy That! Events

What better way to celebrate the first official week of Summer than with the cool purple hues of this gorgeous wedding by Fancy That! Events?

This gorgeous Indian wedding was full of thoughtful details that expressed the couple’s style such as the sweet little bird motif printed on their stationary and the extravagant 5-tiered cake covered in white flowers and hanging crystals to mirror the look of the reception.

We love how they paired the crystal candelabras and the icy lavender linens with gold chiavari chairs and the gorgeous purple and white arrangements by Butterfly Floral & Event Design. The overall design created an elegant and memorable atmosphere.

Biz Bash: The Fresh List

After visiting the BizBash Ideafest at the LA Convention Center yesterday we were inspired to explore all that BizBash magazine has to offer.

The magazine’s Fresh List tracks what’s hot — and what’s not — in events, and we have to say that based on what we see here at Vibiana, we agree!

Some of their trends that we’ve seen at our events?

Classy champagne coupes are in, and mason jars are going out. Bell jars full of candy? Not anymore! It’s all about fresh-made doughnuts (and food trucks after dark!). Infused liquors are definitely giving way to thoughtful tea cocktails, and say goodbye to stark black and white: color blocking is what’s happening now.

Check out this month’s Biz Bash Fresh List and see if your event is behind the times or breaking new ground.

On two very special Wednesday nights this month, the distinguished Los Angeles Chamber Singers bring their Mini-Spring Festival to Vibiana’s historic main hall.

Wednesday, June 20 at 7:30pm: the Los Angeles Chamber Singers Quintet will perform Musica Transalpina, a truly remarkable set of elegant Renaissance works sung in period style.

Wednesday, June 27 at 7:30pm: the Los Angeles Chamber Singers Octet will grace Vibiana with To Everything a Season, an exploration of the liturgical seasons in grand fashion. For connoisseurs of Renaissance choral and small group works, this performance will be a can’t-miss.

Tickets and more information are available at www.lacs.org or call (310) 575-9790.
