72 and Sunny– in December!

Our recent corporate party with advertising firm, 72 and Sunny was not your average holiday shindig. The client’s creative minds partnered with the wonderful Fresh Events Company, Amber Event Production and La Petite Gardenia created a fiery and memorable evening right out of the Distrito Federal in Mexico City.

The decor consisted of custom Acapulco chairs from Mexico, giant turquoise panels that hosted a collection of Mexican artwork, colorful splashes of yellow, orange and green florals on every surface and an amazing projection of the Mexico City grid on our large barrel ceiling.

The creative libations included signature cocktails with a Mexican flare such as the “El Grito” and the “El Diablo” as well as a Tequila & Mezcal tasting from the different regions of Mexico headed by our very own expert mixologist, Josh Goldman. These were matched with the excellent and inventive menu items from Chef Fraser; Razor clam and rock shrimp ceviche, duck confit taquitos with sweet and sour cherry salsa, and grilled coffee rubbed hangar steak with smoked poblano potatoes to name a few!

Beefsteak 2012!

It’s official: Beefsteak 2012 at Vibiana was a smashing success!

There was great food by Neil Fraser and killer cocktails aplenty, with platter after platter of perfectly cooked steak, tableside pitchers of potent Manhattans and a complimentary (and bracing!) bull shot at the door, all to benefit LA Food Bank. It was a throwback celebration of food and fun of epic proportions! Fernanda de Sa Schwartz captured the highlights of the evening and was kind enough to share her images with us.
