A Moroccan-Inspired Lounge

“Meet us in Marrakesh” was a Moroccan-Inspired Lounge created at Vibiana for CWD Best of 2017 awards. Designed by Events by Robin, this lounge featured a plethora of colors, textures, and patterns through two stunning vignettes that reflected colorful Morocco.  One lounge showcased vibrant colors and florals while the other was crisp and white with gold accents and cream colored florals by Eddie Zaratsian and Tic-Tock Florals. Palm trees were added to frame the lounge.

Chef Neal Fraser crafted a decadent Moroccan cuisine that consisted of Couscous, Golden Raisins and Almonds, Lamb Tagine with Oranges and Apricots, Chicken Bastilla and Green Chickpea and Tomato Salad. The specialty cocktail was a Tangier Julep Bourbon, Lime, Mint Tea and Rose Water

The Good Food Gala

Good Food Gala Los Angeles Food Policy Council Vibiana Redbird
We are excited to announce that the Good Food Gala will be held at Vibiana on Thursday, June 15. The Los Angeles Food Policy Council holds this fundraiser on a biannual basis and the objective of the fundraiser is to work to improve school food, promote urban farms, and fight “food desert” conditions and food insecurity facing many low-income Angelenos. We feel very strongly about the efforts trying to be achieved at this event and welcome all guests. All communities should have the opportunity to enjoy food that is healthy, economically affordable, and accessible.

More than a dozen of LA’s finest chefs will present delectable locally grown creations for all to enjoy! Such as: Neal Fraser (Redbird | Vibiana) and Ray Garcia (Broken SpanishB.S. Taqueria), plus Nyesha Arrington, Josiah Citrin (MelisseCharcoal), Matt Molina (Everson Royce Bar), Pawan, Nakul and Arjun Mahendro (Badmaash), Chris Phelps (Salt’s Cure), Jimmy Shaw (Loteria Grill), Diana Stavaridis, David Tewasart (Sticky Rice), Jocelyn Ramirez (Todo Verde) and Merced Sanchez (Samy’s Elotes Y Mas). Dancing is highly recommended while sipping on a beverage provided by Green Brier DistilleryFetzer Wine and Strand Brewing Co. Bring a friend and come join us in our collaborative effort.

Redbird | Vibiana recently hosted an exclusive First Look  dinner event with 50 of LA’s top producers and planners to debut the  East and West Redbird private dining rooms as well as the newly renovated NestCardinal’s Quarters, and Bishop’s Perch.

EAST ROOM
The East Room is a versatile event space with a modern layout. The rectangular main hall runs parallel to an open JennAir kitchen, with sleek design and top of the line appliances, a 65” TV and SONOS sound system. The room leads to a patio with up-close views of Vibiana. The East Room is a perfect place to host a spirited cocktail party, a daytime corporate meeting and post-meeting fete, or an immersive Chef’s Table dining experience. The East Room can accommodate 30 guests for a seated dinner and 70 guests for a standing cocktail reception.

CARDINAL’S QUARTERS
The Cardinal’s Quarters is our most historic room, as it is the renovated salon that once belonged to the Rectory’s former Cardinals. These private quarters breathe romance into the space, with a working fireplace, hand-carved detailing, and deep teal-hued walls. The Cardinal’s Quarters also features an en-suite restroom, a wide balcony, perched atop the Redbird Courtyard, with vistas of Vibiana and Downtown’s architectural backdrop enhancing the majestic quality of the space. The Cardinal’s Quarters can accommodate 44 seated, and 70 for a standing cocktail reception.

BISHOP’S PERCH
The Bishop’s Perch is the speakeasy of Redbird’s private dining spaces. This suite is on our top floor and sits above the rest of our private rooms. The Bishop’s Perch is the perfect spot for intimate celebrations—engagement parties, birthday or business dinners—of 20 or less. The Bishop’s Perch features modern décor in the square dining room, flanked by its own en-suite restroom and a cozy garden patio, where Vibiana’s belfry and the Financial District skyscrapers illuminate the evening sky. The Bishop’s Perch can accommodate 20 seated and 30 for a standing cocktail reception.

THE NEST
The Nest evokes the feeling of hosting guests in your own home. Upon entering, guests are greeted into an open JennAir kitchen, leading out onto our portico lounge and patio dining spaces. The Nest lives up to its name, giving guests a bird’s eye view of the entire Vibiana and Redbird compound, with the LA skyline as its backdrop. Its breathtaking urban views make The Nest a perfect fit for rehearsal dinners and intimate family receptions. The Nest also functions as an excellent space for corporate meetings and receptions, with a SONOS sound system and full audio/visual capabilities. The Nest can accommodate 36 seated, and 50 for a standing cocktail reception.

WEST ROOM
Our largest private dining space is found in The West Room. This spacious dining hall features high ceilings, with hand-painted original beams, a 65” TV, SONOS sound system and a petite balcony overlooking Redbird’s restaurant. Several table arrangements are available, based on your party’s size. The West Room can accommodate a seated dinner of 85 guests, and a standing cocktail reception of up to 150.
