Luxe Launch Tabletop Design | Dancing Angels Along The Mediterranean

2016 Luxe Launch tabletop design “Dancing Angels Along The Mediterranean,” was designed by Sterling Engagements and Shawna Yamamoto Event Design using LUXE Linen‘s White Circle Dance Linen and Gold Lame Napkins.

“Our inspiration for the table began with our linen, the circle dance.  I was very inspired by the pattern and the metal sheen layered on it. The circles and the design within them, to me, felt very Greek or Moroccan and immediately whisked me off to the Mediterranean Coast.  Our process this year was to push the envelope and go beyond just a pretty table.  I wanted to inspire and create art.  Personally, I’m a huge travel nerd and also very inspired by the local (and not local) art scene.  I connected with famed artist, Colette Miller, who is responsible for the Global Angel Wings Project and expressed my desire for her to collaborate with us.  Being at an amazing space like Vibiana and having the benefit of designing near the altar, wings and angels seemed like a perfect fit.  Than we used our décor to transform them over to the Mediterranean and brought in a few real angels to dance with us.   With that, “Dancing Angels Along The Mediterranean” was born.” –Sterling Engagements
